The client request went something like this: “We need a new campaign for a big YouTube ad buy, but we only have 20% of our usual production budget. Oh, and we might need to run these spots as part of our multi-million dollar TV campaign in the spring.”
Little did they know that the request actually positioned us up to go in a new direction I’d been considering. For years, we’d done the usual TV ads. But as a customer-focused company, what if Constant Contact could create a big-time ad campaign that drove sales results, evolved the brand, and even helped a couple of real-life customers?
Well, we did. And it worked.
