Our client, HostGator, wanted to target young "wantrepreneurs" with a message to take action and create a website. Pretty straightforward. The trick was doing it in a way that would "keep HostGator weird" while also preventing YouTube viewers from hitting the Skip Ad> button.
Thanks to a ton of collaboration, it worked. From the esoteric creative concept of a "Waiting Room" for all of your ideas (both good and bad), to the set design, to the director's suggestion to cast a single person rather than multiple personalities. Everyone came together to make something different.
