The ‘Be a Marketer’ campaign was kind of like our sophomore album. As the in-house creative team, we’d spent years trying to get a shot at our first TV campaign the year before. But now the pressure was on to show that we weren’t one-hit wonders and could evolve the brand in a fresh new direction.
The concept was strong: Constant Contact makes it easy for anyone to be a marketer. But it was the casting and tone of the voiceover that made this campaign different from anything our team (or our previous ad agency) had ever done.
